Biomedical engineer, currently working as a LEAN Project Manager and LEAN Healthcare consultant at LEANFONTUCS, a company specialitzen in LEAN healthcare, design thinkinga and patient experience. Our motto: an Easier life through Lean thinking and practice. 7 years fully committed with NEOS Surgery, a technology-based company dedicated to the creation of medical devices for neurosurgery, as a Project Manager and R&D Engineer.In 2016 I finished the Master's program “Design Health Barcelona” in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the field of MedTech, taught at Biocat-University of Barcelona. It allowed me to experience the full cycle of innovation first-hand, from the idea creation to first prototyping and business model validation.Previously, I got a Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Barcelona, where I gained a wide range of diverse knowledge turning me into a multidisciplinary profile. In the meantime, I also did two internships - at the Hospital Clínic and IDIBAPS – which provided me the first contact with the professional world. During 2015 I also had the chance to live in Ireland, where I acquired fluency in English and grew in self-confidence. I am highly interested in medical innovation and creativity. I consider myself to be disciplined, perseverant and realistic, but also creative, curious, enthusiastic and willing to learn. Besides, I am a dance passionate and I enjoy doing any kind of handcrafts. I wish someday my contributions will help to create better medical processes and technology to improve people’s health. Through my future experiences, I expect to widen my knowledge of healthcare innovation and medical technology/processes as well as to grow both professionally and personally
