Alba Morales studied her bachelor in Computer Science at the University of Cuenca. Her thesis comprised the implementation and integration of a local system and open-source platforms to analyse the telephone and Internet network of a Telecommunication Company.Alba joined the industry in 2008 as an intern in a Telecommunication's Company. She was granted a scholarship from the Ecuadorian government to study Master's degree in Information Security and Audit at The University of Greenwich and graduated in 2015. The same year she started working in the electric power industry as Information Security Specialist. In 2018 Alba joined the Open University in England as a research student. Her research area is Smart Cities and the effective use and exchange of health records by emergency services.She has experience as a software developer, project manager, audit and security information specialist.
