The BCCC Foundation and Alumni Association is governed by a Board of Directors dedicated to the betterment of life at Bucks County Community College. Support from people like you, our loyal alumni and friends, is essential to the quality of a college education. Furthermore, the Foundation and Alumni Association both sponsor a variety of special events, such as the Golf Classic, Community Breakfast, and Scholarship Tea, to help build community friendships and raise needed funds. Sponsorships of these events not only build community prestige for our many corporate partners but provides the necessary financial support of a variety of projects and programs that would otherwise not be possible. They ensure these reports are clear, accurate, and timely.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations, including the timely filing of required financial reporting forms.Policy Development: The treasurer helps develop financial policies, such as check-signing authority, expense reimbursement, and credit card usage policies.Audit Coordination: They coordinate the annual audit process, working with auditors and preparing necessary documentation.Financial Liaison: The treasurer acts as a liaison between the board and financial matters, translating financial concepts for board members who may not have a financial background.
