Gary Albaugh education includes a Masters of Science in Information Systems, Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Arts in American Military History. Gary enlisted into the United States Army for eight years as an Information Systems Operator/Analyst. His Army decorations include: Army Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Army Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver – Wheeled Vehicle Clasp. Gary continued his service to his country and transitioned to the Department of Defense Civilian Workforce as the Deputy Director at the Network Enterprise Center – Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, New York and most recently as the Deputy - Chief Information Officer/G6 at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Workgroup Leader for the Acquisition Strategy for Higher Education Institutions for the Department of Defense Academic Information Technology Consortium (DAITC). His Civilian decorations include: Civilian Service Commendation Medal and the Superior Civilian Service Medal. Gary has three wonderful children, Jacob (15), Brandon (14) and Kaitlyn (11) as well as a loving girlfriend, Denise, and family puppy, Reesie. He spends his spare time volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America and other community organization, supports various veteran organizations and assists alumni and veterans associations with their websites and social media presence.
