Eric Alber is an architectural draftsman, and served at offices like Baumschlager Eberle and Carlos Martinez Architects in Austria and Switzerland. Eric is considered as a creative designer with a portfolio of public buildings such as a skyscraper group, libraries, auditoria and residential buildings. He is described as a planner which often challenges the status quo in architecture.Eric is an architectural designer at hearth — he builds buildings. His designs are characterized by a puristic approach, influenced by dynamism and motion. The drafts are always being based on urban and historic building's substance. With his buildings, he aims to withstand the wide gap between vernacular and contemporary architecture, therefore creating a new symbiosis.In addition, he is currently in his final semester at the Technical University of Vienna and on his way of becoming an architectural designer. He is developing a wide spectrum of projects, ranging from abstract sketches to architecture competitions and urban studies.
