Responsible for mapping and location-related functionality on iOS- Mentored and managed career path growth for the Airbnb Apprenticeship program, resulting in a successful team hire with a non-traditional tech background- Led team sprint planning and introduced a number of changes, resulting in more manageable workloads per engineer and clearer expectations and processes for incoming requests. Introduced and led recurring team retros- Engineered a robust system that allowed the iOS client to prefetch and cache mapping data in 3 dimensions, reducing user-visible churn and latency while balancing map and data performance

Designed complex integrations between Chat, Hangouts, Gmail, Meet, and Drive. Notable public-facing achievements include:- Launched Chat in Gmail for consumer (@gmail.com) users—responsible for dozens of successful launchs on iOS across multiple workstreams- Owned performance of major launches in the Gmail and Chat apps for iOS and Android- Engineered full conversation interop between Google Hangouts and Google Chat on iOS—introducing new chat constructs and backwards-compatibility solutions for mobile clients- Enhanced file integrations within Chat on iOS

- Designed and created services in AWS as part of a company migration to the cloud- Modernized key features of the Dealer website as part of a rewrite to a new React app- Acted as point-of-contact during third party integrations- Led reevaluation of interview process
