Subcontracted Inspections for The Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD, started doing bi-monthly inspections for the entire state of Illinois except the city of Chicago , on average we did 400 to 600 inspections per month on vacant houses HUD had for sale, after a few years of doing these inspections I was offered a contract to do HUD SPI (Special Properties Inspector) Inspections in the state of Illinois for the southern region and with in a couple months I again had the entire state except for the city of Chicago, after a couple years of being a SPI in Illinois HUD decided to make it a test state for their M&M III Program and this program ended the SPI inspections for Illinois, The same month SPI inspections stopped in Illinois the state of Missouri SPI contract was offered to me and 1 month latter I was asked to add the state of Kansas and after doing both states for a few months the Eastern Oklahoma SPI had some kind of health problems and I started doing half of that state along with Missouri and Kansas. To my knowledge I am the only HUD SPI to cover more than 1 state.
