I founded BarcodeApps (formerly Barcode Application Solutions) in 2003 as a side project to help my clients needing specialized solutions in the sales order management and warehouse management fields. Over time, it grew into my core business, serving over 200 customers across Canada and the United States.As Principal, I provide strategic direction to the company, including the software development and marketing teams, and as Director of Sales, I head up revenue-generating activity both directly and through a network of affiliates.

I started working at Ganz as part of the negotiated sale of Garden Angel Canada.I presided over the creation of a new division within the company focusing on personal care products by expanding the “Time and Again” series of products. This included working with design, manufacturing, marketing and sales teams to promote the new line.Under my direction, the line grew to contain over 200 products and over $10 million in sales in only 18 months.

I founded this company in 1993, producing and selling a full line of cosmetics and aromatherapy products. Over time, the company grew to 20 employees, with a sales network spanning Canada and the United States.After demonstrating the viability of Garden Angel, I successfully negotiated a sale of the company to Ganz.

Montreal, Canada Area

I started Attitudes Import – a wholesaler focusing on home furnishings, personal care products and other novelties – alongside two partners. Under my watch, the company grew to 50 employees, expanded its distribution network across Canada, and opened a US division.Part of my role involved travelling overseas to multiple destinations across Europe and Asia to source unique products to add to our line.

In this role, I started by supporting the engineering team. Eventually, my responsibilities led me to developed the heavy truck market for Québec in the finishes division.I was eventually promoted to do the same for the Canadian market, which included a transfer to the the Canadian head office in Toronto.
