During my time as a System Integration Engineer, I was in charge of debugging and fixing issues with legacy software in a dynamic and fast paced work environment, as well as designing and creating new applications to replace the old processes, and improve productivity. Some of my relevant tasks include:• Rewrite C++ Encryption/Decryption application to work with new encryption keys provided by the client. This project was developed using object oriented principles in C# with bouncing castle libraries. • Modify/write several stored procedures using Oracle Developer, to create/modified/update tables and views, and transfer data in and out of the Database. As well as design and implement new tables and views in Oracle, that will be used to generate reports. • Create several ad hoc Python application that will generate an SQL script from an excel data dump. As per security measure our client only allowed SQL command to update their databases. • Modified existing web apps in C# to include new functionality and new reports. As well as debug and fix issues with previous reports. This sites were created using Telerik and DNN libraries.

As an Application Developer, I was part of a team assigned to develop a web based tool, to keep track of sale’s budgets. This tool was used throughout the company and displayed several different reports for the different user levels. We applied principles of Scrum Methodology, as well as extreme programming. Some of my task included:• Help design and implement, views and tables in a MSSQL database as well as modified the data when needed. Created ER diagrams using Microsoft Visio. Also responsible of creating testing and development databases, and server migrations.• Install and manage website servers, by installing IIS7, IIS8, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 20012, .net app pools, and other required utilities. As well as binding different IPs to the production, testing and developments web sites.• Setup the SMTP server to send emails using IIS 6. As well as develop custom reports for different user levels that were sent weekly, monthly or daily by email in html format.• Develop web services using C# and Entity Framework or Linq, to send data between the database the web application, with the purpose of inserting new info into the Database, and retrieve reports to display in the web app.• Code the controller in an MVC project using C# to interact with data, re arrange it using lambda expressions and sort it into html tables that were given to the view.• Work with JavaScript to generate services calls, store cookies, manage dynamic graphs, create dynamic pages with pagination and read/create Json files in the web application.
