I did not grow up dreaming of becoming a Denial Prevention Specialist, BI Analytical, Dashboarding, HMO Claims Auditing, Revenue Cycle Management Professional. But after all these years with a singular focus I have become I feel one of the best in my field. So in a sense I've reached a dream to be one of the best at whatever it is I do. There is much more to do in this field, as an industry we are just now starting to catch up to other cutting edge industries. Long gone are the days of mailing off a claim and waiting for a check in the mail. If you do not know which clearing houses are better than others, or as a Revenue Cycle Specialist you are not involved with 835's, 837's and 277 or are not familiar with loops and segments that drive it all, you might get left behind.Always looking for like minded individuals to bounce ideas, learn new techniques, and just stay in the know. When someone pays and entrusts you to submit supervise/manage 17,000 Lab claims a day you get internal satisfaction knowing you are tops in your field. Maybe just maybe we can go and create another star together!
