Passionate about renewable energy, I am a Physics graduate and Wind Meteorologist with a proven track record in the industry. My expertise spans data analysis, effective communication, meteorology, wind resource assessment, and programming. Holding a Master of Science degree with a focus on Meteorology from Universitat de Barcelona, my research centered on "Analysis of the contribution of dynamical downscaling in the mesoscale modeling chain for wind resource assessment applications for ERA5 reanalysis by ECMWF," utilizing spectral time series analysis.As a dedicated member of the Vortex team, I have significantly contributed to the globalwindatlas.org project in collaboration with The World Bank Group. In my role as an R&D Wind Meteorologist at VORTEX, I have accumulated over 7 years of experience, showcasing my skills across various domains.In my impactful role at Vortex, I played a pivotal role in advancing wind energy solutions. This included conducting comprehensive data analysis and delivering exceptional customer service for the National Institute for Wind Energy (NIWE, India), specifically focusing on wind short-term forecasts through the Vortex FORECAST system. Additionally, I contributed to the globalwindatlas.org project by generating maps for prestigious entities such as The World Bank and DTU, with a keen emphasis on marketing and communication strategies for wind resource maps.My involvement extended to the implementation of ice accretion time series for the Vortex ICING product, showcasing my commitment to enhancing product capabilities. Furthermore, I took the lead in the research and development of wind horizontal extrapolation, skillfully blending high-fidelity gridded time series within the Vortex BLOCKS initiative.Spearheading R&D projects at Vortex SEASONAL, I focused on advancing the field through innovative approaches to wind anomalies seasonal forecasting. These experiences collectively reflect my dedication to driving progress and innovation within the renewable energy sector.Over the past 4 years, my primary focus has been on long-range forecast development for the wind industry, demonstrating my commitment to advancing the field through research and innovation. Nowadays, my commitment is fully vested in the R&D department at Vortex, where I continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in renewable energy.
