I Have been in business for 20 yrs. We are a full manufacturer of Industrial, Technical and Laboratory furniture in So Calif. We are woman owned and we do not out source any work to any other county, other than the USA. Currently we have four UL listings on our products… our laboratory furniture is SEFA tested and compliment. I started WSI 20yrs ago (May 1994) when my old employer decided to make some cost saving cuts, this is what I was told, shortly after I was let go, they decided to hire a more known, polished and seasoned National Sales Manager. (I call them figure heads). My old employer thought thought I didn't have what it took to run a 6M sales force. That said, as of 2014 I have sold over 50M world wide, hind sight, I do have what it takes to be successful... I open my doors in Santa Ana in an empty 8K Sq ft building with a double stacked Sears tool box, boy that building looked big…in 1995 the first machine I purchased and financed was a 150 ton Iron Worker. I thought that would do everything, In early 2000 my wife and I slowly started to purchase old used machinery, first it was a single station 1970 ish CNC one direction one tool punch, it was fast (relatively speaking) but not enough, then we purchased a 1985 21 station, CNC Stripped punch press, (much faster but old and sloppy) and then a 10ft Chicago mechanical press brake, (that was a death mechanical machine) the press was older than my dad. In 2010 we sold the old punch for a brand new 42 station x 100 CNC turret punch press. This year, we purchased two new 2013 10 ft hydraulic press brakes. We also have Mig, Tig and spot welders, a powder painting system with walk-in batch oven, CNC Edge bander and a lot of misc. tools etc.Today we have sold over $50Mil in products, our customers range from Intel, Boeing, Quest Diagnostics, Boston SCI, Advanced Bionics, Zoll Life Core, Qualcomm, Alcon Surgical, Microvention and St. Jude Medical and many others supporting companies.
