During my MOE HQ stint, I helped to oversee the review of the PE curriculum in Singapore schools from primary to pre-university levels.  I was also the officer-in-charge of the Cultural and Education Programme (CEP) for the inaugural Asian Youth Games (AYG) held in Singapore in 2009 and the Olympic Education Programme (OEP) for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2010. In 2011, I attained a degree in Master of Education in Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation at the University of Western Australia on MOE Postgraduate scholarship. As a school leader, I'm a firm believer of using student-centric teaching strategies to transform children into independent engaged learners and take ownership of their own learning.I attended the Leadership in Education Programme at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University in 2014 and was appointed as Principal of Clementi Primary School in 2015.Currently back at MOE HQ serving as Director, Psychological Services since 2021, overseeing support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our Primary and Secondary schools, as well as Junior Colleges and Millennia Institute.
