Number of short contracts for the above clients in the areas of short life solutions (VBA development), SAGE migration for customer, vendor and material data.

Leading the data migration work stream from multiple legacy systems into SAP ECC6 (SD/MM/FI). Key involvement in the initial data migration plan which was closely drafted with consultancy delivering the overall SAP solution and with the client's senior management, including the recourse planning (both business and development team), interdependency of the objects and overall integration of the timeline into the project plan. Responsibilities include direct planning of the work and work load of the two data analysts and coordination of the local IT recourses and business owners to input into the data migration area, data governance across all legacy systems. Also leading the development "hands on" LSMWs (direct input, recordings, BAPI and IDoc methods) in the area of the master data, for customers, vendors and materials with all associated sub levels of detail (e.g. contacts, long texts and partnership functions for customer/vendor, info records and rebates for materials/vendors, factoring companies for vendor, waist calculations for materials, . pricing conditions. etc), also good exposure to the transactional objects such as contracts, POs open items primarily through IDOC method. Responsible for defining the data cleanse process and QA of the addresses and data integrity of the master data between various data takeovers and go live. Knowledge transfer, SAP data maintenance through LSMW to the permanent stuff. Advising the senior management in the area of the data maintenance in SAP HR PA/PY production client and delivering LSMWs when updates/amends were required.

Working on European SAP ECC6 implementation in the area of the data migration and corresponding activities such as ETL (Data Flux), ABAP query, Excel/Access VBA, SQL. Participated in business process workshops and was responsible for source system / data identification and gap analysis and documentation of the data migration. Working on data quality and integrity of the data from multiple legacy systems (over 200 sources), devising complex mapping rules and implementing ETL solutions. Involved in the build of SAP HR qualifications catalogue and load mechanisms for HR PA/PY through LSMW.

SAP consultant, primarily involved with one client, Novartis pharmaceuticals and have successfully completed two assignments for them. I was involved in a new SAP implementation of Accounting for Clinical Trials and managed data migration of the above implementation. Was heavily involved in planning, writing functional specifications, unit testing requirements, QA and other tasks and documents as per Novartis standards. I used CATT and LSMW tools. I have also produced companywide SAP landscape review task (over 13 countries) involving identification of all legacy system interfaces with SAP clients and RFC connections.

Was engaged in the project, which goal was to merge two businesses - Littlewoods and Shop Direct to operate on the single system. My involvement was in the migration strategy of the two systems from the business perspective and I was mainly involved in the business analysis and requirements gathering of the funding, customer, order and payment functions and data from the two systems prior to the merge. I was working closely with Oracle and Oracle Warehouse Builder developers and business users to make sure that the build of the migration engine is properly documented and the data to be migrated and merged is correct and sufficient for the correct operation of the target system. My involvement was present in the areas such as cut over strategy for migrating payment and order transactional data and also involvement in integration , B2B and E2E testing.

Working on a major back office - SAP implementation project, which happened as a result of the acquisition of Transco gas networks in Wales and the West by Macquarie Bank. The role involved analysis of limited logical and physical data models available from existing SAP 4.5b system (MM, SD, FI/CO and HR modules) in order to complete the target data model, LSMW definition. This mainly was achieved trough reverse engineering the database models from SAP table and field definitions, SAP configuration documentation and the sample data provided by Transco. The work involved a great deal of communication with various business owners and management, analysis and IT development. My responsibility was also to define the mapping to the data requirements of the target systems - SAP 4.7 enterprise and Ingenuity, to confirm the validity of the models and identification of any potential data quality issues. I was dealing, both with master and transactional SAP tables. I extensively used SAP data dictionary in conjunction with the Embarcadero's DT/Studio (SQL/Java) ETL tool to build data models and data transformations from the source to the target systems. I had a good exposure to LSMW v4.0. I was also leading the analysis of HR payroll and personnel administration data to be transferred from SAP into the Ingenuity system. I was responsible for the process mapping analysis, implementation of the transformations and the documentation of all the above processes and additionally was involved in testing and payroll parallel run. I was working closely with the senior management, Ingenuity configuration consultants, ABAP developers and the business process teams to resolve data quality and process/data mapping issues associated with the project and reviewing potential impact on the business associated with the DM area.

Was working on SAP HR data conversion project, to convert payroll and spotlight legacy systems data into SAP with additional responsibility for the development of LSMWs and master data maintenance for all areas of the business. Day to day responsibilities included co ordination of the data to be loaded into the test client for the comparative run of the system. To adjust the data and data sign off before go live. Data mapping, validation, formatting and other issues associated with data migration between systems, mainly achieved through excel VBA. I was leading the development of data conversion automation of the payroll, pensions and NI year to date figures and also participated in parallel run of the systems, cut over and post live activities, such as reconciliation and mass error correction in SAP production client. As business dictated, my responsibilities also included support and management of the master data in SAP across SD, FI, MM and HR modules through data conversion tools and ABAP programs Additionally I have participated in the products transfer between the factories (MM area), mainly creation / amendment of materials including packaging and ingredients, MRP, bill of material, production versions and rate routings, also via LSMW. Had also exposure in MM workflow, BW query, ALE and HR-PA configuration.

I was playing the key part in the asset management periodic review project AMP4 and worked closely with project managers and business operations personnel on preparation of business plans and periodic review submissions. On several occasions, I have been working with statisticians and database business users in order to define correct data sets to be used in analysis of variance models. My main involvement was in the following areas of the project: asset condition and asset inventory of more then 100 water treatment works in the UK. I have also frequently worked with users from different business areas in defining various data sources and worked with Vertex data consultants on methodology of extracting the latter data sets from SAP and other United Utilities systems. Day to day responsibilities also included mining and analysis of water quality data, manipulation of asset condition grade and capital maintenance data, automation of routine tasks involved in the project, validation and consolidation of historical cost data and its analysis. I was a member of a team, which successfully defined the business processes for international sales and distribution. Our team also successfully implemented relevant functionalities in SAP (SD, MM, PP and FI/CO). I was assisting in leading the project of data conversion from legacy systems into SAP. I was also involved in validation of the data in SAP and was generally contributing to the project in methodology and implementation. Our main objective was to extend existing for home trade business process by including in it extra functions, such as extra transportation methods, VAT, foreign tax, customs and excise, etc. Its involved work with business users and different business area managers, mainly to understand the business processes they involved in, work on improvement or alteration of the above processes and their integration. Major part of the project was to identify business needs regarding the data to be loaded in to SAP, identify data sources within the business and to create automated tools for the loading purposes. The latter definitions, inevitably involved constant liaison with mangers from different business areas, work with ABAB developers and configuration consultants, business process re-engineering to incorporate extra functionalities within supply chain and distribution, IT development work and various testing work such as data acceptance and data integration. I had exposure to pricing and billing configuration. I was also directly involved in high volume data validation between WMS and SAP systems, achieved through SQL techniques and creation of custom code and functions in VBA within MS Excel/Access. I have also devoted a lot of time to create Excel interfaces for uploading data by BDC method into SAP, which also gave me a valuable functional knowledge in material management (MM), sales and distribution (SD) and financial (FI) modules and their integration within SAP R3 v4.6b.

My role at Bristol-Myers Squibb was to assist regional teams (UK, Netherlands, Austria and Belgium) within B-MS financial services in Chester with monthly financial reporting. This involved analysis of management profit and loss a/c, balance sheet, reconciliation, SAP archiving of financial data and other tasks in SAP FI/CO module. I was also part of a six-month SAP Euro Conversion project of all European businesses within BMS Ltd to operate in a single currency. My involvement was in expectancy testing and various pre "cut over" SAP data conversion tests. Day to day responsibilities included working with large data sets, which were manipulated, and analysed using MS Excel and MS Access. Usual tasks included eliminating/matching duplicate entries, merging data sets, extracting data and data sets etc. The uniformity of the above tasks gave me an idea to automate some of the GA tasks, which I have successfully developed and implemented. I devoted a lot of time to the development of Excel VBA to automate this tasks. On completion of testing the whole general accountancy department were using my templates. Although the final procedure was semi-automated, it was saving a day of work every month for every country team in GA. I have also been involved in the project to create Access database application. I used techniques such as SQL, elements of VBA programming and intensive use of Access/Excel macros and built-in functions.
