Senior executive for client account management and sales for media and content for all airline clients in Europe and Africa. Responsible for all client account management activities (including relationship building and delivery of contracted services for over 22 airlines), current client revenue growth, new client sales and profitability of all accounts in region. Also responsible for managing team of dedicated Senior Account Directors and Account Managers.

Set up airline's IFE Department in 2005. Responsibilities included research of global in-flight entertainment and connectivity trends and innovations to develop, implement and manage a leading IFEC product for Etihad Airways.Key achievements:• Developed airline's IFEC strategy to support Etihad's corporate brand identity and to coordinate implementation and integration of strategy on all IFEC platforms.• Managed introduction of first AVOD-fitted aircraft and subsequent roll-out of over 60 aircraft over 7 years, managing diverse fleet and four IFE platforms (Thales i4000; Thales i4000+; Thales i5000; Panasonic eX2). This included development of the GUI (Graphic User Interface), applications, games and content.• Launched new IFE brand (E-Box) which involved development of new GUI (Graphic User Interface) and upgraded content across all platforms.• Launched revised content strategy in January 2012 which included a significant increase in IFE content, including cross-promotional idents and revised content categories.• Launched OnAir in-flight connectivity solution on three Airbus A330 and four Airbus A320 aircraft in 2012.• Developed and implemented Panasonic's Global Communication Suite (GCS) for remainder of airline's wide body fleet. Included broadband internet and mobile phone services, as well as Live TV channels. This project included line-fit and retrofit of the system across the existing and future fleet.• Developed airline's Airbus A380, Boeing 787 and new Airbus A320 fleet's IFEC solutions, which includes system and applications development, a new GUI programme and several unique/bespoke innovations.

Responsible for heading up client service team, including creative and account management teams, to nurture and build lasting client relationships for the agency.

Responsible for the strategic direction, planning and launch of all the airline's onboard products and inflight entertainment.

Responsible for the onboard service delivery standards on the North and South American routes, which included performance management of the crew on these routes, as well as coordinating the service delivery chain between In-flight Services Department and other departments within SAA, as well as those between SAA and other service providers (e.g., caterers, cleaning companies etc.).

Joined SAA in 1989, fulfilling various roles, including Onboard Services Manager, Cabin Crew Trainer and Crew Manager responsible for managing 250 crew members in terms of performance, leave and allocation of duties.
