My responsibilities early on were to create clean room assembly procedures and training material for fabrication here and in Malaysia. I had conference call meetings and traveled to Malaysia to gather the information I needed. I provided all the elements for my documents including graphics, illustrations, photography and final hardcopies. I became an expert on all aspects of disk drive fabrication. Along with me supporting Malaysia’s fabrication process I designed instructional material to teach employees how to use newly installed PCs running windows and was called upon to design CAD training material and workshop curricula to support our tooling engineers and draftsmen. In the process I developed the style guides for technical and other non-technical documentation such as policies, slide presentations and instructional material.
