I worked as an intern on a project focused on utilizing a school laboratory for the introduction of prototyping and IoT with Arduino. In this project, workshops were developed and applied to introduce technological innovations such as prototyping, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) at a public technical high school in Belém. The workshops were implemented by the research team from the Physics Didactic Innovation Laboratory (LIDF) and facilitated and monitored by undergraduate students from the Institute of Technology (ITEC) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA).The workshops provided students with the challenge of working with the Arduino board and its alternative components such as transducers, microcontrollers, motors, and more. This empowered students to actively seek knowledge, motivating them to continue learning while enabling the production and construction of innovative methodological practices in classrooms and school laboratories. Additionally, the project provided cognitive performance indicators that allowed for the measurement of the cognitive impacts that the project had on the students' learning processes. Thus, the university fulfilled its fundamental role of connecting with society, exploring ways to improve its various sectors, particularly through the scientific education of students.
