Continuous process improvements and cost saving recommendations. • Consistently maintains low material cost focusing on repair/salvage of component parts for small instruments, rather than replacement. • Research Sysmex/Behring substitute parts to help meet instrument weekly commitment. • Implement vital procedure changes/feedback received from FSRs/Customers in reference to Instrument Installation and GPS updates. • Use Engineering/Technical skill set to produce the highest quality resources for small instruments/service spares. • Drive small instruments projects/process improvements and area improvements. Identified multiple design and field training issues throughout the small instruments processes/procedure. • Instrument Hi IQ team technical training and meeting. • Implement instrument repair process for improvements. • Analyze weekly DOA’s in a timely manner to comply with due date. Implement several instrument quality improvements to Sysmex and B-Line processes.• Daily production floor meeting to resolve internal and external customer instrument and part technical issues.• Served as a technical resource to repair technicians on the Baxter Wave Process. • Duties include training new employee, ensuring all technicians have appropriate test equipment and tools available, and auditing finish goods product for correctness and completeness.• Repaired/Troubleshoot various different products ranging from simple subassemblies to complex instrument such as various subassemblies Paramax Product Line, the Nephelometers (BN100, BCS, BNP and BNII) of the Behring Werke Product Line, and the Dimension AR of the Dimension Product Line. Streamline Baxter Infusion pumps process and repair/technical issues at Dade Behring Norcross operations center.
