I retired from private practice in April of 2023. I maintained both my New York Medical license and my DEA registration albeit not my medical malpractice insurance. I'm looking for a physician reviewer remote role on a part time basis I am Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism. My pre-medical education includes a B. S. (Pharmacy) and an M.S. in Pharmacology. Prior to going to medical school, I worked in both retail and hospital pharmacy. During my career I work on hospital formularies as both a pharmacist and later on as the physician head of the hospital Pharmacy and Therapeutics Commitee. In addition, I was the medical director of the hospital weight reduction program and on the hospital Medical Board. I feel my background would be a good fit for a physician reviewer position, be it the task of reviewing medical procedures or non-formulary medication requests. Albert Giannone, M.D.
