About Albert Grau-Carbonell
Physicist with a focus on the nanoworld. Got my PhD on in situ TEM at the SCM group at Utrecht University, where I also joined a short postdoc on active matter. Currently working as application scientist at InProcess-LSP, the developers of SR-DLS, a particle size characterization technique that allows measurements of particle size in flow and at high turbidities. I work with partners around the globe in diverse fields from LNPs for mRNA vaccines to nanomilling of inorganics, passing through APIs, emulsion HPHs, and many other dispersed nanosystems.If my career does not make it clear enough, I enjoy science and science related challenges, and I have found along a profound interest in characterization techniques.

Study of the depletion-induced self assembly of silica rods. Involved the synthesis of silica spheres, fluorescent silica rods and fluorescent silica cones, and the synthesis of PNIPAM spheres.
