My duties as the Test Score Technician for the Detroit MEPS includes: I ensure that test scores are valid and entered into the automated USMEPCOM Intergrated Resource System (USMIRS) in a timely manner and consistent with established policies and procedures for the DoD Military Personnel Testing Program. I provide training on proper test score data entry. I report and investigate incidents of Test Loss/Compromise. I interview applicants whose test scores require a confirmation test to ensure the scores are representative of his/her aptitude. I resolve test scoring automation issues, requesting assistance from HQ Help Desk as necessary. I serve as liaison to MEPS Service Liaisons for Test Score reporting. I apprise Service Recruiting Liaisons of status of applicants whose test records are on hold pending action by the applicant or recruiter. I ensure test score integrity to include: oversight of applicant eligibility to test or re-test; articulates special test situations to HQ Testing Division in order to obtain HQs approval/disapproval to "exceptions to policy". I justify requests through proper channels to HQ Testing Division for manual change of test scores. I ensure standard and secure score transmittal procedures for any MET site where automated testing or scoring equipment is used. I ensure all scores from tests given by USMEPCOM are committed to MIRS. I oversee test security, control, and storage procedures; inventories accountable test material including receipt, transfer, and destruction; and open mail containing sensitive testing materials. I make recommendations to the TCO on policy, procedures and potential threats to security. I received my certification as an Anti-Terrorism Officer in June 2018, currently acting as the SAF (Stand-Alone Facility) Security Manager for my MEPS. In addition, I have developed excellent customer service abilities and strong skills in working in highly stressful environments under strict deadlines.
