I grew up on farms and ranches in the Similkameen Valley of South-Central B.C., Canada. I loved working outdoors, hiking, fishing and photography. I was saved in 1977 and completed training in theology at (then) Western Pentecostal Bible College (now Summit Pacific College) in Clayburn, BC. While I have never been formally assigned a pulpit, I have always considered myself a "Pastor Of One", sharing my faith in Jesus with whomever God put before me. I joined the U.S. Navy in 1991 and was trained as an Aviation Medicine Technician. I spend 15 of my 20 active duty years with four deploying units (USS Kitty Hawk CV63; VAQ-134 "Garudas"; VQ-1 "Worldwatchers" and CVW8 "Ocho Factory" where I retired from.. I was selected to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in July of 2008 while serving at the U.S. Naval Academy. I retired in June of 2011, earlier than planned, but with no regrets. Since then, I have tried numerous post-retirement careers, finally landing on what I consider to be my perfect job for a semi-retired veteran who loves the outdoors....as groundskeeper at Baker Hill Golf Club, one of NH's premier private courses. Life is good...God is gracious...I am ever thankful for every blessing He has bestowed.
