I am currently responsible for breaking OVI REY, A LATIN /URBAN / DANCE solo act, that has headlined 214 shows in so cal from 2011-2012, selling an average of 200 tickets at mid size venues, and a majority of top Hollywood and DT venues. He wrote and performed the spanish version of the title track for the Mario Van Peebles "We the Party" movie, headlined most of the latin parades in So Cal, while establishing his own record label and publishing llc's. I also Plan Strategic Business Objectives for Every department at IDS. I chalk out the blue print of strategic business plans, evaluate the profitability of the plans and discusses it with the board of directors and management members. At the helm of every department, I have team heads and managers, however, they all have to ensure that their plans seek the approval of me the CEO. Vice President The Vice President of a Record Label is directly responsible for implementing the direction as given from the CEO of a Record Label. The Vice President will hold daily meetings to get updates and plan future endeavors with department heads. In addition, the Vice President is, most likely, directly responsible for distribution negotiations, media buys, and generally "making things happen" when a department head is having difficulties with a resistant outside vendor.
