Performed field surveys on AIr Force bases for General Dynamics for their BITI 16 project. Was responsible for surveying and testing fiber optic cables. Recording cable loss, pathways and topology in critical buildings associated with the base's network infrastructure. Preparing test results and coordinating work efforts with the GDIT management team.

Directed Site Management for provider of distributed communications systems, leading large Inside Plant and Outside Plant efforts for Federal and Department of Defense (DOD) customers. Provided expertise, strategic direction and perspective to management team.  Completed 12 large projects for U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Port of Houston site locations. Led teams of up to 30 in-house personnel and contractors. Assured appropriately trained staff, site safety and adherence to regulations while successfully completing all project phases. Liaised between DoD contractors (Harris IT Services, TEK Systems and Northrop Grumman), off-site Project Managers, and Federal oversight personnel to ensure project Statement of Work was adhered to thoroughly. Operated within company confines of project budget, monitoring overtime, in-house and contract labor cost and material usage. Directed construction operations to include new plant extensions, network maintenance and system restoration efforts.
