Being a "Man for Others". The motto of Jesuit College Prep High School is the main goal I strive by to live my life. I am working on predictive healthcare models at Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation to help improve healthcare through integrated technologies. We are working together to "help save a life" by connecting various organizations together along with hospitals to provide a more direct coordination, data sharing, and financial framework in the healthcare industry. I use my mathematics background to not only analyze data and create algorithms but also from a business standpoint to help with grant work. I look forward to helping more and more people to the best of my ability. Albert's Bio: Albert Karam is a data scientist at PCCI with 3+ years of building predictive models in healthcare. In the past 2+ years at PCCI, Albert has researched, identified, managed, modeled, and deployed 3 predictive models for Parkland Hospital and the Parkland Community Health Plan. He is diverse in understanding modelling workflows and implementation of real time models. Albert has been supervising a team of data scientists, creating predictive algorithms and real time decision support to Parkland Health Hospital System and other institutions across the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. He is actively doing data science to help improve patient outcomes both in and out of the hospital with a focus on post-acute care and keeping patients healthy and out of the hospital. Additionally, Albert has acted as System Administrator and Data Governance for PCCI with a focus on various innovative data science platforms and solutions.Albert obtained his master's degree from The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) in Mathematics. He is currently enrolled as a full time student at UTD in the Duel MBA and Master's Program with an MBA focus of Data Analytics and a Master's of Healthcare Administration.
