Brickworks is the manufacturer of leading building products, and is listed on the ASX 200.-Business partner with operations and executive team to drive performance of the division-Promote controls and processes to improve the reporting and analysis within the division-Provide weekly and monthly management reports to division and group-Maintain fixed asset register-Perform the role of Divisional Controller when required, managing 2 direct reports• Within the first 3 months, I successfully managed submission of the consolidated statutory result pack for the division, and managed the division finance team over a period of 6 weeks whilst recruitment of a Divisional Controller took place.• Successfully integrated 3 new members into the finance team to deliver short-term projects.• Implemented inventory management processes to reduce excess procurement (saved $50k in the first month), and provide more accurate consumption analysis (identifying over $300k extra revenue).• Improved the reliability of weekly profit estimate by mapping directly to the live trial balance for the division.• Reduced the time from data acquisition to insight of transport cost overspend from 1 day to 15 minutes, through a range of analytical methods. This included setup of a new site.• Implementation of better inventory controls and sales invoicing, which led to a reduction in aged payables by over 50%, and much less volume of invoice queries.
