I started in payroll in a small PEO and tax preparation/accounting office and ran full cycle payroll for clients for 5 years. In 2012 I was hired on at Paychex and reached senior status in less than 1 year. I managed over 300 clients, entering payroll and other maintenance items for many, and training on our platform and other various payroll functions. In 2014 I accepted a position at a CPA firm and managed their payroll department while being trained in tax and accounting. At this firm I processed full cycle payrolls as well as implemented new clients into the payroll system. In addition I was trained in IRS problem resolution and obtained my Enrolled Agent's license and began being trained in audit representation. I moved to another CPA firm closer to home in 2017, doing the same functions, as well as the firm's office management and various HR functions. In 2020 I accepted a payroll implementations position at a small payroll company and learned the ins and outs of Kronos Workforce Ready. I have been trained in project management and implementation procedures even more thoroughly. I train clients and do the bulk of the setup for the system as far as payroll is concerned.
