PhD student the department of Infectious Diseases, Erasmus MC, and the department of Internal Medicine, Radboud UMC. My research focuses on the analysis of big data in R, applying various statistical models, in close collaboration with expert biostatisticians.Member of the 2000HIV collaboration: a multi-center cohort with multi-omics and immunological analyses to understand clinical phenotypes and comorbidities in people living with HIV. My research focuses on HIV "elite controllers", a rare group who spontaneously control HIV without anti-retroviral medication. Our research group is investigating immunological mechanisms and biological pathways underlying this phenotype. Additionally, we are investigating disease burden and comorbidity in elite controllers.
