Albert Lau, an Architect, joined Hip Hing Construction Co. Ltd. in 2017 as Senior Project Manager (Design Management). He is currently managing the design (design management) of a Design-Build-Operate (DBO) project “Kai Tak Sports Park”, focusing on a 50,000 seated stadium. Follow the flow of “disruptive” change in the industry, Albert is now working closely with the BIM technology being adopted in this project for the design management and collaboration. Albert has over 20 years of experience. Prior to Hip Hing, he practiced as an Architect and had been involved in wide range of local and international projects including retail, institutional, residential, office, airport, and railway. During his time with Ronald Lu & Partners, Integrated Design Associates and Leigh and Orange, he had completed several key Award Winning projects including K11 Musea, Residential Development “One LaSalle”, Hong Kong Science Park Phase 2 and New Hyderabad Airport (India). Personally, he had also received a Silver Medal for DBEW International Concept Design Competition in 2004.
