I was born in Atlanta, GA. Coming up as a military brat, I've had the opportunity to experience different walks of life. This not only gave me a level of understanding for various cultures and lifestyles, but the ability to adapat and communicate with different types of people. Spending most of my young and adult life in San Diego, CA, this adaptability became one of my strongest assets. As I pursued my educational endeavors at Southwestern College, I began my work experience in the retail space. From there, I moved to Houston, TX to pursue and receive a bachelors degree at Texas Southern University. There, I continued my experience in retail allowing me to broaden my skills in communication on and off campus. After graduating, I moved back home to San Diego where I would translate my experience in retail to the world of finance. Since, I have worked for Chase Bank, LPL Financial, Navy Federal, and Nationwide Financial. My roles at these organizations allowed me to learn the various processes and avenues within finance, merging seamless communication with the technicalities of annuity processing, account opening, and etc.
