The role entails driving business expansion through the attainment of new business goals. This includes managing and nurturing the business development team to ensure efficient credit control, achievement of targeted loss ratios, and the establishment and upkeep of customer connections.Key Roles:**Raising debit and credit notes**Addressing client/customer inquiries and feedback within stipulated TATs/SLA**Supporting in collection of premium**Preparing quotations, policy documents, issuing certificates, and cover notes**Sending renewal notices to clients and advise on changes in policy if any**Assisting Business Developers in their roles**Participating in company CSR and brand-building activities in liaison with other departments**Staying abreast of the insurance industry standards, policies, changes, and news

*Adjudication, and vetting of medical claims *Monitoring and preventing fraudulent claims during the payment process*Making follow-ups with networks, negotiating where necessary on issues such as discounts and reconciliation of claims*Ensuring compliance on contractual terms*Evaluate claims submitted by policyholders, agents, and brokers for reimbursement and make decisions regarding the reasonableness of the payments.*Responsible for providing data analysis and preparing reports*Undertake research on current market risk initiatives*Staying abreast of the insurance industry standards, policies, changes, and news

Handling Health Claims.Key Responsibilities.• Check and confirm accurate member, scheme and provider details before loading the claim• Accurately capture details from the claim document into the Acti-Sure system• Proper re-indexing of claim document into document management system (soft copy filling)• Working hand in hand with document management team (DME) when claims have poor legibility for re-scanning.• Advising the Claims Analyst/Vetter on any peculiarities noted in the loading process
