Professional bilingual (English/French), Albert DA is a Nurse at Alden Estates of Naperville, where Albert monitored, tracked and conveyed important patient information to healthcare staff to help optimize treatment planning and care delivery. He untiredly worked in conjunction with the management team to minimized staff and patient infection risk by implementing infection control precautions according to the CDC guideline. As a nurse, he worked directly with physicians during examinations and scans to assist with diagnostic procedures, pharmacies and clinical laboratories to ensure appropriate treatments delivery and labs results accuracy. Albert has been highly committed to evaluate patients to identify and address wounds, behavioral concerns and medically relevant symptoms. In this capacity, he supervised and coordinated the day-day activities on the floor to ensure quality care delivery, safety and wellness of elderly patients.Prior to joining the healthcare industry, Albert worked as Program Director at SEED of PEACE/Non-Profit Organization in West-Africa from 2006-2011. He developed and implemented five annual educational programs in conflict management/resolution, Civil and Human Rights, and Democracy practices, created annual strategic plan to obtain funding for five years of program with Mennonite Central Committee and World Association for Christian Communication. Albert has managed staff of 10 employees in coordination of outreach initiatives to 3 rural communities with over 15000 beneficiaries and educated beneficiaries including students’ committees, political and civil society leaders in Conflict management and resolution, Civil and Human Rights. In 2010, Albert led the organization’s team to advocate and plead on behalf of vulnerable population in the midst of a regional conflict opposing two multidimensional belligerents.Today, Albert is pursuing his degree at the University of St Francis as a master’s in health administration student to reinforce his capacities and skills in healthcare improvement and quality care.
