Provided individual, family, and couples therapy in outpatient settings to clients having a broad spectrum of issues including marital issues, anxiety, depression, grief and trauma, substance abuse, and family system dysfunction. Utilized primarily cognitive behavioral therapy when working with this population and their families. Also used spiritual concepts to assist in transforming behavior.

Responsible for the delivery of direct mental health services for predominately African American patients, age ranging from children through geriatric. Also responsible for the planning, organizing staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the Behavioral Health Program. Work in cooperation with the leadership team in developing plans, policies and procedure to efficiently and effectively meet the objective of providing quality mental health care. Assure accurate and complete documentation of mental health care given.
