• Handling the procurement function of sourcing and procuring of materials for Operational & Maintenance / Original Equipment Manufacture & other various spares and equipment for all Offshore and Onshore Machinery / Drilling items and various Project requirement. • Obtaining bids and preparing evaluation and final execution of Purchase Order’s to ensure that suppliers and company meet the specified delivery and payment obligations respectively with objective of maintaining smooth operation as per the production requirement. • Continuous update of Company’s vendor database, proper file management of all purchase records for internal and government audit purpose. Proper vendor development and vendor performance evaluation along with the QA/QC department. • Confirming the feasibility of authorized requisitions, scheduling delivery and prioritizing actions in order to ensure delivery commitments as per company standards. 1 • Developing sustainable business relations with the suppliers in order to ensure that poor relationship do not cause any disruption in supplies. • Discuss commercial issues with various contractors and vendors and ensure contractors and vendors HSE compliance with that of the company standards. • Expediting of materials from OEM and other contractors, both local and overseas on a daily basis to ensure all consignments reach our warehouse facility as per the scheduled time frame. • Attend monthly meetings with end user department and provide an update on the requisition and procurement status. • Attend technical meetings with end user to clarify technical issues on various material requisitions. Provide logistic support for all consignments both local and import items.
