I joined Haynes Boone in 1994 and became a partner in the firm’s Finance Section in 2004. In addition to serving as co-chair of the Fund Finance Practice Group, I am a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Partners’ Compensation Committee, and Board of Directors. I formerly served on the Appointments Committee (which appoints and oversees the firm's senior leadership and management roles) and as co-chair of the firm’s Attorney Development & Diversity Committee.I regularly represents investment and commercial banks in connection with fund financings for private equity funds in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America.Among the lending clients that I have represented are: Bank of America, Bank of China, Bank of Montreal, China Merchant Bank, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Crédit Agricole, East West Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank, Itaú Unibanco S.A., JBIC, Mizuho Bank, Morgan Stanley, MUFG, OCBC Bank, Regions Bank, SMBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, United Overseas Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank.From 1997 to 2000, I was based in Hong Kong, where I served a secondment as chief counsel for Caltex Corp.
