Albert Tsui joined Anjie as a Partner in 2021. Between 2010-2018, Albert was the Chief Asia Brand Protection Director and China Lead Counsel for a world-famed mobile device maker. Albert represents Chinese and international clients in various inbound (foreign investment in China) and outbound (government-sponsored Belt and Road Initiative and overseas investment by Chinese private companies) legal matters, particularly intellectual property transactions, protection and prosecution. A dually qualified lawyer in China Mainland and Hong Kong with right of audience in China’s Civil Courts, Albert is proficient in both common law and civil law systems. Albert is passionate with technology. He has particular interest in blockchain, artificial intelligence, robotics, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, cloud computing and drones. During his inhouse tenure, Albert frequently gave hands-on legal advice on the Internet, mobile, social media and e-Commerce.
