The Maintenance Coordinator is accountable for the Escravos Gas to Liquids maintenance organization. EGTL converts over 250 MMscfd through a sophisticated chemical process to produce a synthesis gas which is polymerized in a Fischer Tropsch reactor to produce a wax and then processed in a Chevron isocracker to produce 22,000 BOPD of diesel and 10,000 BOPD of naptha. The maintenance organization is comprised of 78 Chevron employees (PSG 14-24) and over 200 full time contract staff plus specialty contractors as required. The organization executes over 11,000 work orders per year

The Area Manager has P&L and OE accountability for the West Central California operating area. The organization, comprised of 160+ employees and hundreds of business partners, is responsible for the Lost Hills, Coalinga, and San Ardo fields, which produce combined over 30,000 BOPD and over 475,000 BWPD. The fields cover a range of reservoir and production types, including the Lost Hills Diatomite water flood and the San Ardo and Coalinga sandstone steam floods. The area represents a significant fraction of the reserves and 6P EV resources in the SJVBU. The WCC Area Manager leads a multidisciplined team including Operations and Maintenance personnel, Facilities Engineers, Production Engineers, and Reservoir Engineers.

The Maintenance Superintendent manages the required maintenance for the three WCC fields through an organization of 30 Chevron staff, including frontline and administrative support, covering both mechanical and instrument/electrical functions, as well as a business partner work force varying from 50-100 mechanical, and 10 to 30 instrumentation and electrical personnel. There are three full-time planners, one for each field, and one reliability driver / principal investigator responsible for continuous improvement efforts including RCM's and root cause analysis.
