I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science. In June 2016, I started as an Engineering Technician at Synder Filtration, where I maintain, calibrate, and manage the equipment used in production. I currently serve as a Project Engineer. My long-term goal is to become certified as a Professional Engineer and design equipment to be used in industry.My experience with both majors has given me a versatile skill set. I have studied engineering principles such as kinetics, process control, and transport phenomena and am able to synthesize into code. Besides technical skills, I have been working on developing soft skills such as emotional intelligence, leadership, and communication because I recognize these skills are also important to my career.
