I had the immense privilege and opportunity to be a key element in forging the relationship between Fermi and Sanford labs. The Operations Coordinator role was itself experimental, as we developed a thorough understanding of how Fermilab and SURF would interconnect in bringing forward the future of neutrino science. This position was a major organizational shift from the previous, and I became versed in new operating systems, organizational structure, and mission prioritization. I quickly identified the parity and differences between bombers and missiles, and worked to bring the best elements of both to my sphere of influence. • Led 29 personnel across six work centers and in field operations, responsible for all task qualification, ancillary/upgrade training, and lesson plans for 500-member maintenance group. • Managed $4.7 million worth of training equipment, vehicles, and facilities. • Integrated 11 weapon system modification/modernization programs worth $7.2 billion with periodic maintenance requirements.• Restructured team-training program, eliminated non-value added tasks, increased student throughput, and streamlined staff-shifting ultimately increasing training capacity 55% and eliminating a two-year student backlog. • Led highly sensitive recovery operation, as Consequence Management lead; managed logistics and staff, contained incident and prevented further damage.• Ranked #1 of 8 as Officer of the Quarter, awarded Commendation Medal for outstanding performance.
