In 2018, I co-founded Edit, a feminist design collective. Edit’s ongoing research project Honey, I’m Home considers domestic design and how the layout and contents of our homes have the power to influence and maintain established gender and family roles.This research was presented during the Canadian Centre for Architecture’s online forum titled ‘What, if not the family?’ as well as in the form of talks for the Architectural Association, London Metropolitan University and Central Saint Martins.In 2019, Edit was invited by the Oslo Architecture Triennale to present a prototype developed as part of Honey I’m Home. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a fictional prototype for collectivising domestic labour. As an alternative to the capitalist assumption that housework is most efficient when performed individually, the GDP is a device that can be used only by three people.More recently, Edit designed the exhibition and publication for How We Live Now - a retrospective of Matrix Feminist Design Co-operative at the Barbican Centre.
