I’m the System & Network Specialist for SETAR N.V., a Telecommunication Company focused on Fixed Telephone-, Wireless Mobile-, Broadband Internet- Advanced Video and Commercial Data services in Aruba. In this role I’m the company’s senior system engineer, Managing and designing the application & server virtualization layer, Storage Area Network, virtual desktop infrastructure and also participating in different projects like designing of a new datacenter. My most exciting work to date was designing and implementing desktop virtualization for our internal costumers that was a key to the successful reduction of the amount of helpdesk calls. Not only did we have fun designing the infrastructure, but also we found it rewarding to see the results.Before joining SETAR N.V, I worked for an IT infrastructure & consultancy company — Lanclan –- and was lucky enough to work with amazing clients such as Bakker Hillegom, Gemeente Maastricht, and Orange Telecommunications company.I’m truly passionate and driven about my work, and always eager to connect with other network and system engineers.
