• Accountable for providing alternate project options to help make the decision of selectingthe optimal solution for commercial opportunities and challenges
• Work together with cost estimating, engineering, construction, and non-technical riskgroups, ensuring each project has a competitive cost and schedule
• Coordinate early works activities such as engineering, field survey, and engineeringsurveys to support detailed development
• Develop project scopes ranging from T-North and T-South to Texas Eastern Transmissionand Algonquian Transmission lines

• Launched the official Engineers-in-Training program that includes mentoring, rotation, training, and development tracking
• Prepare the yearly budget for the program and tracked and updated on a monthly basis
• Develop a detailed training plan which outlines core engineering competencies and requirements
• Source various external vendors that includes technical and behavioral training
• Organize internal subject matter experts for in-house learning and development programs
• Rotation and work assignment planning with managers and EITs to ensure business needs are met and all EITs are getting relevant and practical experiences

Calgary

• Interface with all aspects of the project team including: engineering, construction, project controls, supply chain, lands, regulatory, environment, and business development
• Forecast and develop project schedule and initial project cost estimate. Review with project controls to ensure the project is running within budget and on schedule
• Communicate with Operations engineering and ensure all their concerns are addressed
• Ensure all lands, community, environment, and regulatory commitments and notifications are met
• Generate and maintain the project risk logs
• Hold weekly project team meetings and separate engineering design meetings
