Summary of experience:- Successfully carried the position of Finance Director/ Chief Financial Officer for a company with $150 million turnover, $50 million in profit, offshore operations and over 220 employees;- Solid experience and knowledge in the areas of finance, investment, accounting, tax and law. Including budgeting, forecasting and forward strategic planning;- A strong track record in setting strategy and originating growth opportunities including leading acquisition (M&A) transactions and major capital investments (infrastructure). Completed over $1 billion in acquisitions; - Successfully floated (IPO) two companies on the ASX and arranged the IPO of other companies. This included structuring, valuation, tax and due diligence;- Considerable commercial, operational and strategic experience in driving operational performance and profit improvements;- Developed and delivered strategy for the growth and positioning of the company which contributed to an increase in shareholder value;- Strong communication skills including company presentations and liaison with stakeholders, including presenting to the board, equity analysts, financiers (debt) and potential investors.- Lead the Corporate Finance function for a listed entity, including debt arranging of over $1,5 billion;- A strong track record in identifying, structuring and implementing business and process improvements, (agent for change and process improvement); and- Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling as well as financial analysis and business valuation.
