Managed the operational and optimization function in deep sour oil in Swan Hills in northern Alberta producing approximately 4000BOEPD.Worked as the focal point for all operating cost related activities, including workovers, facilities construction, operating cost reduction and volume optimization. Designed and executed well workover, re-completion, optimization programs.Analyzed financial data to locate cost trends, problem areas and reduction opportunities.Monitored daily well performance to identify optimization opportunities.

Coordinated and managed all oilfield operations in NE Alberta and British Columbia in the areas of drilling, completion, facilities, staff requirements, environmental and regulatory compliance, and production operationsCorporate production increased from 50BOE/d to over 1000BOE/d.Worked closely with accounting personnel to provide high-quality financial data required for analysis of corporate spending and cash management.Performed technical and cash flow analysis including reserves estimation for recompletions, well proposals, assets acquisitions and divestitures.Assisted with preparation and updating of strategic planning.

Managed the operational and optimization function in critical deep sour gas in Crossfield, and shallow mid-Mannville oil & gas Brant/Farrow fields in southern Alberta producing approximately 6000BOEPD.Worked within a professional team consisting of an Exploitation Engineer, Geologists, Geophysicist and Landman. Designed and executed well workover, re-completion, optimization programs; coordinated service rigs and associated wellsite services.Reviewed and critiqued financial data to locate cost trends and problem areas, and reduction opportunities.Monitored daily well performance to identify optimization opportunities.Accomplishment: Implemented pilot project to reduce operating costs in high water cut oilfields by up to 30%.

Led the operational and optimization functions in W4, W5 Alberta and southern Saskatchewan within a professional team of five; with production of approximately 20MMcfd of gas, and 500 BPD oil. Reviewed open hole logs, DSTs and offset production searching for bypassed pay.
