The revamped warehousing contract generated an annualized cost savings of S$600K.  Replaced main transportation contractor (PTC) with a dedicated group of transporters based on efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Re-calibrated distribution service level, eliminated “minimum delivery points”, furniture assembly charges and reduced cost/drop by 20% ($31/drop to $26/drop), resulting in an annualized cost savings of S$700K in distribution. Digitalized and implemented COURTS Home Delivery System (HDS) based on “Dynamic Routing Algorithm” to maximize Truck-Load-Efficiency and to maintain a healthy Quality/Cost Efficiency.
