• Manage a team of approximately 60 quality inspectors including leaders and supervisors responsible of the daily management of the built-in quality of the body in white manufacturing plant• Set annual quality targets for the plant and creation of strategies for continuous improvement whose performance is tracked via master schedule and KPI´s review of time, quality and cost• Cross-functional daily management of vehicle quality and set directions for body inspection activities • Coordinate daily welding & sealing performance of the shop including internal and external audits• Set annual scrap costs reduction targets for the plant and create strategies to achieve those

• Manage an engineering team (9-11) responsible to confirm final vehicle quality requirements for all new models and various vehicle modifications including full new models, minor changes and facelifts, engine & emission regulations changes, etc. by creation & follow up of inspection test plans• Set and manage investment required for each project including both capital investment and overheads• Manage overall master schedule for all new models, various vehicle design modifications and regulation items for compliance of production distributing jobs among the team considering workload and skills• Coordinate the feedback from the test areas and support the relevant departments to ensure the concerns are tracked and closed according to each project milestone• Cross-functional team leader acting as window person between product design team and the manufacturing plant to ensure that the quality performance from final customer perspective is met

• Manage an engineering team (6-11) setting objectives and directions to achieve facility & quality KPI’s• Set up & manage annual capital and revenue budgets and achieve yearly cost reduction targets• New engineer recruitment and individual training plan for skill up development, mentoring & coaching• Set & Manage annual master schedule for facility and quality improvements and new installations• Coordinate new model introductions from design phase and throughout ramp up trials until launch• Support plant’s objectives by setting up strategies within the body shop to increase productivity, improve quality as well as to reduce the total delivery cost• Cross-functional daily management of the plant quality, cost and delivery/time KPI’s and set directions to the team to carry out improvements on the body shop contribution factors

During this period it is included a 13 month assignment in the Nissan Technical Centre in Atsugui, Japan• Achievement of facility & product KPI’s for cost, quality and delivery (volume achievement)• Lean manufacturing processes continuous improvements to reduce line stoppages, improve cycle time and increase productivity to reduce the total delivery cost of the plant• Creation of facility design specifications and carry out design reviews and final buy off with contractors • Daily monitor of product quality KPI’s and improve via jig adjust, design changes, etc as necessary• Monitor supplier incoming parts quality and support & follow up supplier improvement plans• Product quality and facility concerns root cause analysis and problem solving techniques• Lead cross-functional activities towards the achievement of a common goal• 2D & 3D Mechanical Design and Simulation (AutoCAD, CATIA & DELMIA) as well as facility measurement with FARO arm and/or LEICA Laser Tracker• Project management of installation of new facilities and modifications from design phase until launch• Support the design team throughout the development of new models from digital phase until launch• Support the design team setting vehicle Fit & finish & QVCC targets as well as each body factor control• Support new models physical ramp up trials monitoring quality performance and carrying out processes improvements to achieve the required time, quality and cost targets for each milestone

• Support and manage the front of house team (8-10) including creation of weekly shift covers and individual training plans to achieve a repeatable high standards of customer service • New personnel recruitment & Support the management team on capital spend and stock management

• Develop projects (electrical, gas, general refurbishment, new aperture, etc) for all types of businesses including creation of 2D drawings and written documents to obtain the desired license by the council• Use of AutoCAD and other software for electrical, ventilation, heating & gas calculations• New customer uptake, commercial negotiations and submission of quotations• Set & Manage master schedule and achievement of milestones• Team management (2-4) distributing the work according to skills, priorities and work load• Engineering recruitment and development of individual training plan & mentoring
