Wrote SQL, UNIX, PERL, and other language code on client-server ORACLE platform for new job projects and processes - created high and low-level design documentation, tested for accuracy, and provided validation that everything worked correctly, and updated current code for client changes and performance. Did a lot of research using SQL and the ORACLE database to resolve client issues, data discrepancies, foreign data interpolation, and cleaning up/refreshing the client and customer information channels and access. Part of the operations team, and assisted in day-to-day tasks, quality control, and plenty of both team and client contact. Provided results that clients needed to keep their businesses running. Assisted team in gathering and sharing valuable information, set goals to achieve, and met requirements that they could use themselves or interact with others, Dealt with insourcing mainframe platform to client-server platform for client in tight schedule. Helped in reducing processing time for many outdated and legacy job streams - most notable was helping to redesign a month-long process down to one week, which was a huge improvement, and saved hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. Trained dozens of employees to learn the ins-and-outs of what their job expectations are, and to engage in expanding skill sets together. Enjoy working with others to ensure a cohesive and friendly team environment. Helped other teams when they needed my expertise with software applications they did not know how to use. Kept documentation logs current and updated management on monthly performance statistics, which were vital in corporate meetings. Part of the Shared Services group, and had interaction with different levels of management and employees.
