Responsible for defining the supply planning strategies/capabilities that will be employed to meet the needs of the Reading Plant and North American Business. Drives regional production planning and flow of inventory to meet or exceed agreed upon cash flow targets and customer service levels while utilizing differentiated supply planning strategies to match supply to demand; materials management; procurement of raw materials (strategic and tactical); material movement (incoming receiving) and purchasing for the plant. Accountable for all materials management and supply chain reporting for the Reading plant.

Wyomissing, Pa

Responsible for a wide scope of Co-manufacturing Globally and Domestically. Accountable for all North American Regional Co-man activity, as well as having Global Co-man reporting responsibility. This includes a diverse portfolio of products; molded specialty chocolates and novelties, cookies, coffee, hot cocoa, baked goods, and others.

• Company wide procurement consisting of office, chemical, advertorial, warehouse, and engineering purchases • Point man for production clients • Source products both domestically and globally for Pharmaceutical and GMP/Food Grade clients mandating a working knowledge of customs rules and regulations • Research, meet, and audit new and existing vendors to negotiate pricing and availability of raw materials • Shop and manage B-2-B advertorial marketing opportunities to multiple, integrated, media companies • Negotiate contracts and rates with third party freight forwarders for both company and customer • Completing supplier assessments and evaluating performance as they pertain to the company’s ISO 9001:2008 registration • Liaise with Quality Assurance Department, Production Managers, R&D, and Project Engineers in developing and maintaining processes to allow system improvements • Recognize and resolve customer/vendor complaints and issues as it is related to performance or service utilizing existing procedures compliant to ISO 9001:2008 Quality System from initial investigation to ultimate resolution• Monitor and verify established corrective actions have proven effective up to six months after initial submission • Perform in house training of internal MRP system with department heads and educate how each transaction affects their department
