About Alberto Arboit Ph.D.

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the DZNE in Magdeburg, Germany. My current research revolves around detecting early biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease by combining functional MRI with simultaneous in vivo electrophysiology in an Alzheimer’s animal model. Additionally, I am investigating the relationship between BOLD fMRI signals and neural activity to enhance data interpretation. During my doctoral studies, I focused on studying a cellular mechanism proposed to support short-term memory using in vitro electrophysiology.
