I am a Stanford University graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have developed strong analytical, critical thinking and collaboration skills through my engineering and design work. My hands-on manufacturing and design experiences have provided me with the practical skills to bring products to life. CAD proficiency - over the last 8 years I have been developing and tuning my skills with computer aided design software, primarily Solidworks. I also have experience using programs such as Autodesk Fusion and ProE. I am comfortable designing parts and products keeping in mind material availability along with hardware and fabrication limitations. Rapid prototyping - experience using CAD to quickly create prototypes and first articles in small-scale manufacturing environment. Additionally, through my work at Salisbury Robotics Lab I became proficient at rapid prototyping using techniques such as 3D printing and laser cutting. Software - I have experience building and operating robots through Arduino and the universal Robotic Operating System (ROS). Additionally, I have built and run complex MatLab simulations and created applications (front and back-end) with languages such as Java, C++ and Swift. Extensive experience using Microsoft Office suite including Excel VBA scripting.System Integration - mechanical, electrical and software design experience through analysis, fabrication, and troubleshooting. I gained the necessary skills to ensure all subsystems are able to work together seamlessly. Additional hands-on skills - I have experience working in a manufacturing environment with fabricators and assemblers. Understand the communication required to manufacture products quickly, cheaply and in accordance with designs. Experience with sheet metal fabrication in a full machine shop with punch presses and press brakes.Diverse set of interpersonal and oral communication skills, ranging from formal academic presentations to synthesis of technical Research & Development progress updates
