Technology Center of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, puts the university research capacity at the service of innovation in companies based on the knowledge and results of the research and technology transfer centers of the UPC.During this period (part time combined with the previous job and higher education until May 2005 and full time from Dec. 2007), my responsibility was to promote the use of the Information Technologies in the private and public sector by:- Planning, coordinating and executing IT consulting projects to improve and transform the business- To meet the technology needs of companies, as well as any other institutions, by providing a comprehensive, multidisciplinary technological service, thereby bolstering companies’ efforts to innovate.- Foster cooperation and internal coordination among the various UPC research groups and research centres, with a view to conducting research and transferring the R&D results to the business world- Carrying out training activities about the use of new technologies such as giving conferences or courses
